Our Adult DBT Programs provide comprehensive therapy and skills that help individuals decrease symptoms and maintain safety. Our programs teach mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills that improve the quality of life. Programming is provided in a supportive yet challenging environment and is customized to each individual’s needs. Our Adherent DBT is a Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) certified and nationally accredited DBT provider. Adherent DBT is offered at our Edina and Woodbury locations.
MHS offers three levels of DBT treatment intensity that include intensive outpatient/day treatment, state-certified standard DBT, and a one-day weekly option for clients without significant safety concerns.
Placement is based on assessed medical necessity that includes safety concerns, the severity of symptoms, the degree of functional impairment, and amount of existing structure and support. We also offer a DBT aftercare program for clients who graduate from a more intensive option.
Wherever you are in your journey, MHS can help. Our DBT program therapists collaborate with your other providers to create a coordinated treatment team for you. To schedule an intake appointment, call 952-835-2002.
