Nicole Sheppard, MA, LPCC

Nicole facilitates DBT programs and provides mindfulness-based individual therapy to adolescents and adults. Nicole has clinical, research, and community development experience in transracial/international adoption, mindfulness, trauma, identity development, and life transitions. She enjoys working with clients to improve life quality and to reduce stigma and barriers to accessing effective mental health care.  Nicole holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas.  She is also a graduate of the Permanency & Adoption Competency Certificate (PACC) training at the University of Minnesota, and Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) designed by the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.).
