Courtney has a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. Courtney has over five years of experience working with children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder along with other cognitive disabilities. Courtney has also worked with children who have experienced significant trauma. She received her certificate in Autism from the University of St. Thomas in 2015. At MHS, Courtney facilitates an intensive Adult 3-day DBT program, Adolescent DBT program, conducts diagnostic assessments, and provides individual therapy. Courtney’s therapeutic approach incorporates DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Developmental Repair. Courtney’s favorite thing about working in mental health is seeing people make positive change and develop their personal strengths.
