Ashley is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota. At MHS, she facilitates intensive outpatient DBT and CBT programming for adults and provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults. In addition to clinical work, Ashley has experience in mental health advocacy and research.
Ashley approaches therapy from a systems theory and person-centered perspective. She uses an eclectic approach strongly based in the teachings of DBT and incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and motivational interviewing. Ashley’s favorite part of her job is being present with clients while they identify their values and build a life true to themselves.
