This seminar will provide attendees with an understanding of psychosis. Topics covered include CBT interventions for psychosis, managing the adolescent to adult transition, and psychosocial rehabilitation. There will also be a discussion on family therapy and support systems.

Presenter

Alan Davis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides psychosis-specific therapy, assessment, and clinical supervision at Allina Health’s WestHealth campus in Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Navigate Programs. He has over twenty years of experience with adolescents and their families in a variety of settings, including advanced training in treating patients with psychosis.  He is an adjunct faculty at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a BBHT and BMFT Approved Supervisor in MN. He enjoys working with patients with symptoms of psychosis as well as the variety of supervision and patient care in his role at Allina Health.
