Virginia received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Augsburg University and is currently a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). She provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults, as well as facilitating Adolescent DBT program, Adult One-Day DBT program, and Integrated Dual Disorder DBT program for individual struggling with mental health and chemical dependency issues. Her past experience includes school social work with adolescents and working in housing for women struggling with homelessness. Virginia approaches therapy from a person-centered perspective and believes in having a holistic approach to mental health issues. She uses an eclectic approach strongly based in the teachings of DBT and incorporating aspects of CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, and postmodern modalities. Virginia’s favorite part of her job is working with individuals to build a more satisfying life.
