Lauren has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Alcohol and Other Drug Addiction from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Lauren is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who has experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders in both residential and intensive outpatient settings. At MHS, Lauren has experience facilitating the Integrated Dual Disorder DBT program, Adult DBT programs, and Early Adolescent DBT program. Currently Lauren facilitates Adult Three-Day programming, Adult One-Day DBT programming, co-facilitates Adherent DBT programming, conducts chemical health assessments and provides individual therapy at our Plymouth location. Lauren’s therapeutic approach has a holistic focus that incorporates elements of CBT, DBT, person-centered approaches, and reality therapy. Lauren’s favorite thing about working in mental health is helping client’s gain awareness to their strengths and finding ways to build a more meaningful life.
