Laura has a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University. She is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. Laura has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. Laura’s experience includes work as a youth counselor, an independent living skills counselor, and a residential supervisor with a variety of at-risk populations. At MHS, Laura facilitates Adult One-Day DBT program and provides individual therapy services. Laura’s approach is a DBT and strengths-based approach that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Laura’s favorite thing about working in mental health is the privilege of being witness to the amazing positive transformations humans can experience in their lives.
