Krista has her Masters in Clinical Social Work from St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas. Krista began working at MHS in 2015 and currently facilitates Adult Three-Day DBT program. She also offers individual therapy and conducts diagnostic assessments. Krista has experience working with adolescents in a DBT residential program as well as other adolescent programs in the Twin Cities. Krista’s therapeutic approach involves aspects of DBT, CBT, solution focused, and motivational interviewing techniques. Krista’s favorite aspect of working in mental health is witnessing positive change in another’s life, working to deepen connection, and finding meaning for one’s life and purpose.
