Joan Plaisance, MA, LPCC

Joan has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She currently provides individual therapy and conducts diagnostic assessments. Her clinical background includes working as a psychiatric nurse on an inpatient mental health unit and in an outpatient mental health clinic. She has performed needs assessments, provided in-home therapy, and case management services. Joan's therapeutic approach primarily incorporates Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. She enjoys helping people explore, understand, and improve their lives.
