Heather has a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Heather’s experience at MHS has included facilitating Adult One-Day and 3-Day programs as well as Adolescent DBT programs. Heather is the Adolescent Program Coordinator at MHS and can be reached directly for any questions regarding teen programming. She also provides individual therapy, diagnostic assessments, and clinical supervision. Heather has worked with a variety of clients including those with severe and persistent mental illness, self-injurious urges and behaviors and suicidality, LGBTQ clients, adolescents, and adults. She integrates many approaches, but primarily works from a Cognitive-Behavioral perspective. Her favorite thing about working in mental health is meeting people with extraordinary resilience, helping people recognize their own strength and worth, and having the opportunity to help individuals work towards more balanced, healthier, and happier lives.
